One of the most talked about judge of X factor certainly is Nicki Minaj – who is amidst all the talks related to the fact that Simon Cowell is looking around for signing up with more number of American people who are in fact willing to work in the show.
Simon Cowell has also made an official comment that with the present version of X factor there certainly are very less chances that viewers might in fact be able to view Cheryl Cole sitting on the Judges panel seat. When speaking of the X factor USA- Cowell has also announced that as the show is believed to be entirely for American people so it is natural that it needs more number of Americans to participate in the competitions.
In his statement in the Daily star, Cowell has made an official comment stating: “I always need to ensure that X factor USA is in fact involving more number of people from US who are willing to work for the show. This is a factor that is very much important as far as pride is concerned, as X factor US and Cowell certainly want to ensure that the show is made best as compared to any of the earlier auditions of the show.
He also added that he is in fact ready to appoint people who can assist him in the judge’s panel and at the same time they are efficient in judging the talent coming from American people. One of the main reasons behind this decision is that Cowell certainly feels that his age can play a major role here. Apart from this he also added that as he was British and there are a number of younger contestants who are participating in the X factor USA so there should be more Americans working on the show.
When addressing the American press, Cowell also made a statement that the show shall not be assigning Mariah Carey as the next person to sit on the judge’s panel seat. He also added when speaking to the Los Angeles Times that this is a statement that has been decided official that Mariah Carey is not the Judge in the X factor USA show. He further stated that one of the main causes for making this decision is that he feels Mariah Carey would in fact be pregnant the time the show hall be filmed and so there are chances that she might not be able to participate in some of the Telecast shows. He also stated that there are chances that Mariah Carey might in fact be able to participate in later events of the show.
Nicki Minaj certainly is one of the celebrities who has been in talks related to the show. There are also chances that Cowell hopes Minaj to help draw more number of younger contestants to the show. As the show is only a few weeks to be telecast, there are only two official names announced for the judge’s panel – Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid. Who knows who could be the next person on the list?
