There was an official statement made by Cowell that he has worked out who shall be present on the Judges panel in the X factor USA show the moment it shall be launched later in this month end.
When addressed by Access Hollywood, Cowell also made a statement that Music icon George Michael in also interested in doing the show and passed a comment that Scherzinger was also confirmed for claiming for the Judges seat in the panel. He also stated that George Michael is a well known singer and shall be making his guest appearance in the Live show.
“The fact is that there are a number of people who are literally interested in doing the show,” Cowell added. “You certainly have to perform as this is one of your best team. In this show there certainly is an amount of $5 million at stake and so it is important that you always have the right type of people who are sitting next to you, who are very well efficient in selecting the upcoming star, and at the same time have the power to transform anyone into star and are well aware of the procedure they need to follow in selecting the right star for the show. It is certain that they should in fact be efficient in performing any task that they are being paid for. So it is certain that any one who is aware of working with American people always has the first chance to share the seat at the Judges panel for the show.”
There were also certain names of few celebrities that were in fact put in front of Cowell including Paula Abdul, and he stated that: “We certainly are sure to short list a number of people and so Paula Abdul has the chance to share the seat in the Judges panel.” He also said that Elton John and Christina Aguilera have not been approached yet and are also not short listed, but he has managed to speak about the show with Mariah Carey and Katie Perry, but they certainly are not available during the event telecast.
Apart from this you might get a chance to hear of few new names – like Cee Lo Green. There were a few rumors that producers of the show had in fact approached him but were turned down by him. When being interviewed, Cowell stated that the official announcement shall take three weeks of time and that any thing official could only be stated by March beginning. He also stated that nothing can be said before the day of the auditions.
