X Factor USA Week 5 Results

With the odds raised on the first double elimination of the series, America would knock out two unlucky hopefuls from winning the main prize. Kelly Clarkson was the special guest today performing her new single What Doesn’t Kill You (Stronger), her performance showed the perspective new talent what they may look foward to if they prove to be a hit both in the US and across the world. Bruno Mars was also a guest performer on the show with his new single ‘It Will Rain’.

LeRoy Bell and Lakoda Rayne were the ones America agreed should be sent home after the Lakoda performed against Marcus Canty for the final place in the Top 7.

Simon Cowell praised Josh Krajcik who showed America what he could really do, on another note Simon Cowell still has most of his contestants left in the competition.

I cannot believe America allowed Leroy to go home, only he and Josh have true likeability and for me the only two artists I would follow and spend money on.

i cant believe marcus canty who sang beautifully on thrusday was in the bottom 2 to see who was going home i think he didnt deserve to be there ,he one of the best singer in the competition ,he got an amzing voice ,i love watching him woulnt miss it for anything ,when he sang the song for his mama it really touched by heart and on the other hand leroy bell is a really good vocalist for his age and to good there abnd sing his heart out by not giving up and believing in his self he was a brave man very sad that leroy went i dont think they both should have been in bottom two yesterday xxx

Astro should be the one to be kicked out not Leroy. Astro is rude, childish and disrespectful a total disgrace to American young generation of kids his age. His attitude is the worst I have seen on American TV singing shows. Go Astro, leave you are a shame to American public, cannot imagine what the people around the world watching this think of him. Bad is what I have heard so far from my relatives, friends etc…nobody has say any good thing about this spoilt child. cannot stand his attitude. I turned off the volume whenever he sings. No range in his voice except rap, thats all he can sing.

  The show is called X-Factor so that means it’s not just a singing show. Chris Rene also raps but does anyone have anything to say about him. People take Astro’s confidence for being cocky but the little boy has a God given talent. He is phenomenal for someone his age to use metaphors the way he does when writing his own raps. Chris can’t even sing. He is flying on the wings of his life story. I know alot of recoverting addicts who can sang not sing (There is a diffence in the two, believe it or not). Astro commands the audience as soon as he hits the stage. Uses the whole stage and doesn’t hold back on anything. It doesn’t matter anyway because he will get a contract with or without X-Factor. Trust and believe that. To be his age he already has a work ethic that probably outshines you or I. With this said-It’s a shame when a grown person hates on a kid for believeing in himself. That’s what we as adults are suppose to teach children and support them in whether they are ours or not. If he doesn’t, who will. If we don’t who will? Then he will become a shame to the public. So Tanner, keep it movin because with or without you – Astro will!

How the judges can rave over Astro is beyond me — when the heck does rap go away .. I turn to another channel every time he raps….at least Chris has a mix of wrap and shows his talent as a singer…

I think there is some excellent talent this year with the exception of Astro – not my style – I like to hear real singing like Melanie .. also Chris – and Drew have unique styles…Only hope Astro is voted off this week.

WELL I CAN SEE WHY PAULA AND NICOLE WERE THE FIRST TO HAVE THEIR CONTESTANTS SENT HOME…TO SEND DREW HOME OVER MARCUS WAS TRULY UNBELIEVABLE!!! BUT HE WILL GO NEXT WEEK !!! HE WAS IN THE BOTTOM LAST WEEK AS WELL…ITS SAD THEIR TIFT WITH SIMON GOT A LITTLE GIRL SENT HOME THAT DIDN’T DESERVE IT!!

The end of my watching X-factor.
Unacceptable that Drew was voted out, I could understand Reid’s postion, but Nicole and Paula were so wrong that all my friends and I will start boycott anything to do with both of them from now on.

NO MORE US X-factor as long as Nicole and Paula are on.

WOW! What a travesty! Paula Abdul just gave new meaning to her song “Cold Hearted Snake”. The least she could have done is thrown it into deadlock. Classless, graceless and not long for the show for anyone watching Simon’s look. Paula was a washed up has been before Simon invited her to be on X Factor. Now, what for Paula…time for the cold hearted snake to slither off into obscurity.

I hate the concept of the judges having teams….they just put down the other contestants that aren’t on their team…and it becomes a contest between the judges , not the talented young stars competing for the prize. I hope Astro is next out, arogant little brat …

Marcus is not that great but a little better than Chris Rene. How did Chris make it this far? Unbelievable!! I keep wondering what others hear or is my tv speakers having a problem.

Wowwwww….Done watching X-Factor. The fact that Chris Rene is still even in this competition is a complete joke. It is almost laughable how every week the judges comments regarding his lack of talent are nothing short of praises. Yes he deserves all the credit in the world to overcome what he has been through….but this is a competition, not an NA meeting. People with real talent (mainly DREW) has been critized for staying in her comfort zone………well so has everyone else. This girl is a star and was sent home before someone that is talentless. Done……Done…..Done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not watching XFactor anymore.

I am NOT watching XFactor anymore after seeing Drew go home – there was no basis for her getting kicked off considering Marcus has been in the bottom two for several weeks now. NO MORE XFACTOR FOR ME – the show is obviously NOT looking for talent. Ridiculous.

Deffintly NO MORE X-factor!! Tonight was the last straw! A judge that can’t do her job (as you heard the audiance was very upset with her too, all the BOO’S when she was asked to say something). Marcus in the bottom THREE times and they keep him, I guess this is not a singing contest. What is the saying, “three times and you are out”!! Rachel should NOT have been sent home!!
We have enjoyed show till now, but no more X-factor in my house!!!
